Our March meeting will be next Friday, March 11th. The meeting will be in Mattoon at the YMCA. Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at noon. Don Sol will be catering a nacho bar, so please RSVP by Wednesday, March 9th, if you plan on attending and if that will be in person vs. Zoom. We will follow up with a Zoom link next week.
Our presenter is Evan Jenkins. He is the Business Development Director for Manpower in Central Illinois. He is responsible for managing relationships with clients throughout the region. The focus of Evan’s presentation is to discuss the candidate-driven labor market, which causes challenges with standard hiring processes companies have grown accustomed to. Evan will dive into detail on why candidate fallout is a challenge and focus on recommendations for hiring mangers on how to be more competitive with the high demand for workers.
