Meeting

We are excited to kick off our 2023 year this week with our first meeting. Our meeting is being held this Friday, the 13th at 11:30 a.m. at the Lake Land College Foundation and Alumni Center located at 5001 Lake Land Blvd, Mattoon, IL 61938. Lunch will be Subway and will start at 11:30. Some HRA-ECI group housekeeping items and the meeting will begin at 12:00 p.m.

It's hard to believe it's almost the end of the year already and Christmas is right around the corner! But, that means it's time for our annual Christmas party!

Our December meeting and party will be next Friday, December 9th at 11:30 a.m. It will be at the Firefly Grill located at 1810 Avenue of Mid America, Effingham, IL 62401. We will be drawing business cards for prizes, so be sure to bring your business card. Please RSVP by next Wednesday the 7th so we can get a headcount. 

Our September meeting is next Friday, September 9th at 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. The topic is our Legislative Update and speaking will be Collin Moseley on behalf of Senator Bailey. Lunch will be from Lee's Famous Recipe. The meeting is in Mattoon at First Mid's auditorium located at 1414 Charleston Ave. Detailed building location instructions are attached. 

The meeting will be held Friday, May 13th.

Be sure to bring your business card for the door prize. 

Our April meeting is scheduled for next Friday, April 8th at 12 p.m. for meeting and 11:30 a.m. for lunch attendees at Lake Land College in the Foundation and Alumni Center. It is recommended to park in Lot B. 

Our March meeting will be next Friday, March 11th. The meeting will be in Mattoon at the YMCA. Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. with the meeting beginning at noon. Don Sol will be catering a nacho bar, so please RSVP by Wednesday, March 9th, if you plan on attending and if that will be in person vs. Zoom. We will follow up with a Zoom link next week. 

The meeting will be held this Friday, February 11th. Scott Cruz, labor and employment attorney, will be presenting over Zoom on employment and law updates for Illinois employers for 2022 and post-OSHA ETS COVID. We are waiting to hear back on if the meeting is approved for credits. The Zoom meeting will start at 12 p.m. We will have an in-person option as well for those that want to view the presentation together.

January 14th at WBs in Charleston with Dr. Lance Hogan and Dr. Luke Steinke discussing performance, training, and skills. If you plan to attend in person, please RSVP. A limited menu will be available. 

If you plan on joining the group for 2022, the membership form is attached. If you just want to attend by meeting, it is $12/meeting.
